Me Cafe: Renovating an old sewing workshop into a community lounge

The Me Cafe project for a local housing NGO is an interior design project which aims to provide parents with a cozy and functional space for multiple activities. The design team sought to create an inviting atmosphere in which parents could take a break from childcare responsibilities and have some “me time.”

The space was designed with a focus on functionality and comfort. The cafe features a variety of seating options, including benches and coffee chairs, as well as a coffee table and work desk for those who need to get some work done. The color scheme is warm and inviting, with shades of brown and beige throughout the space.

The main challenge of the project was to create a space that was both functional and attractive. The design team worked closely with the client to understand their needs and preferences, and to create a space that would meet their requirements. The result is a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, and that provides parents with a much-needed break from the demands of childcare.
